CTA Gandhi-King Dream Scholarships

The CTA Diversity Scholarships were created in 2017 to provide supplemental financial assistance to college-bound high school students from need-based, minority and veteran family students.  At CTA, we firmly believe in the power of education and giving back to the local community, especially veterans, women and minority families.

We firmly believe in the power of education and its potential of increasing a family’s income. We understand the financial strain going to college can place on any family, let alone parents who are tasked with raising their families. As strong advocates of both higher education and family values, we are pleased to help students from veteran families, minority students, and those students in need of financial help to create a secure future by providing $500 for tuition or books, or other educational expenses.

Total 10 scholarships will be awarded (need-based 5, academic excellence 5).

The Essay

We want to hear your story. Write a personal narrative describing yourself, your family and what education means to you. Why do you want to obtain a college degree? How will this scholarship help you achieve your goals?
